hair ideas for this summer

Since I cant really pull my hair up in a high bun since I chopped it off I am looking for other styles to do. I am thinking this summer I am going to go for a messy/wavy/small curls look. Kind of flapper meets modern.

Ive decided that I HAVE to get a bicycle this year. I was just thinking how retarded it would be for me to live about 5 blocks away from the University of Utah and drive there, pay for parking, and have my car just sit there when it could be sitting at my house in its little cubby hole. Also if I am going to go to school for environmental studies, that would make me a hypocrite. I dont know what kind of bike yet, and I dont know from where, those details will come soon, but I am going to get one for sure. While looking them up I found some cute pictures I wanted to share.

The other thing I have been obsessing over today is braids. Yes, those sexy little plaits. They are absolutley perfect for spring and summer and perfect for bike riding. I wore my hair today in milk braids:

I almost forgot how fun and easy they are! I love braids and looking at pictures of them is making me think maybe I dont want to cut my hair. (or maybe I need to be really really rich so that way when I cut my hair on a whim, I can have somebody put extensions in so I can braid it the next day)

Red alert

I had a dream the other day that I had red hair and I loved it. I am thinking it was a sign and I might have to switch up my hair. I love having the blonde but red might be a fun thing for now. Plus it might be a touch easier to keep up than blonde. Oh the joys of being a girl.

So I had this plan to grow my hair out and go more brunette because I am getting lazy when it comes to my hair and I just want it to be simple. Im not very good at being "girly" sometimes and I just have other priorities right now. BUT I came across this picture and my whole world has been changed around.
I absolutely love Michelle Williams style and now I want to cut my hair shorter and go more blonde. What to do?? I dont know if I will go this short and definitely keep the bangs longer in the front but maybe shorter in the back??
It might be fun for summer? The only thing w/ blonde and short hair is that you HAVE to keep it up. Do I want that kind of responsibility at this point in my life? Help!
