I absolutely love her music and I am so sad her show here in slc has sold out. Her voice gives me the goosiest of goosebumps and its so great to sing along to in any type of mood. Love it, love it, love it.

Me and my sister tried the new Crackle nail polish from the Katy Perry line aaaaand I think I like it a lot. Its definitely not for everyday wear but it makes for some cute little edgy nails.

Me and Alex finally got our bestie/ Utah tattoos. It has something we have wanted to get for awhile and we got them done at the tattoo convention over this past weekend. We had a lot of different ideas and placement ideas but I am really happy with how they turned out!

I think I am the first one to finish the book from our most recent book club meeting.

We chose to read this book because the movie is coming out in March (just in time for B's birthday!) And isnt it better to read the book before the movie? Not that any of us arent familiar w/ this story but it was neat to see some little twists to a classic tale.
I think I will probably give a real "review" over on my other blog, maybe, if Im not too lazy and/or I dont forget.

So when is our next meeting? I think there are already some ideas for our next book and I cant wait. I want to start reading some classics too, since for some reason I seemed to skipped all of them when I was in school.

I have so many random websites bookmarked that I often forget about most of them and then when I go back to them, I think this website is so cool why dont I check it out more often. Well the following is one of those cases. I was looking at this great website which is pretty much an online craft zine... appropriately named Craftzine.com
Anywho when I was looking at it I found this artist with these super awesome sugar skull art letterpressed prints. I wish I would have checked them out earlier, I totally would have bought the pac-man one! So cool!

todays favorites

Ive decided that I HAVE to get a bicycle this year. I was just thinking how retarded it would be for me to live about 5 blocks away from the University of Utah and drive there, pay for parking, and have my car just sit there when it could be sitting at my house in its little cubby hole. Also if I am going to go to school for environmental studies, that would make me a hypocrite. I dont know what kind of bike yet, and I dont know from where, those details will come soon, but I am going to get one for sure. While looking them up I found some cute pictures I wanted to share.

The other thing I have been obsessing over today is braids. Yes, those sexy little plaits. They are absolutley perfect for spring and summer and perfect for bike riding. I wore my hair today in milk braids:

I almost forgot how fun and easy they are! I love braids and looking at pictures of them is making me think maybe I dont want to cut my hair. (or maybe I need to be really really rich so that way when I cut my hair on a whim, I can have somebody put extensions in so I can braid it the next day)

Happy Valentines Day

Valentines brunch!

Me and my mom and sister went out for special Valentines brunch yesterday! We went to Eggs in the City, went shopping at gateway, and then had some good ol ice cream after.
I love them so much and I dont know where I would be with out these two lovely ladies. There is never a dull moment when we hang out, they are both so smart, funny, and overall great to be around! Its the three amigos when we are together, and that is the best thing ever.









*Side Note: Eggs in the City was sooo good! I think I am going to start trying places in Salt Lake City that I havent been to before, and so far so good! It had a really cute atmosphere (it used to be a garage), the servers were very friendly, and the food was delicious.
