!

These are the most everything boots I have ever seen.
I have always wanted a really cute pair to wear with over knee socks and skirts/shorts.

I think these are ridiculously expensive but maybe I can find a similar pair for less moneys. Swoon!

Book club?

So I was thinking about Alex's blog post and I really think it would be a super-duper good time to start a book club. Obviously we can make it how we want and stuff but I really like getting other peoples opinions on books and see if they got out of it what I did. Espesh good books w/ crazy twists and stuff... I always want to say "can you believe... happened?!"
So who's in?? We can plan specific days out of the month or just do it whenever we feel like.

Plus I know ya'll dont want to turn down a night at veggie house or the rio.

P.S. I think werewolves are winning the battle. I have some more points I would like to go over... except there is on amazing point I left out previously about vampires- they like to sleep. Oh this is going to be a never ending war... I will never rest though till I find out who is better.

<3 one day.

I like the way you brush your hair...

I like those stylish clothes you wear.

schoolio is coolio!

I start a new semester tomorrow!!

I cant believe I am in school and slowly starting to get something going of having a good future, haha. Even though I dont really know what Im going to school for.

I have American Civilizations... booorring... and Intro to Environmental Studies... hopefully interesting and this should tell me if I have any future in any environmental areas.
I still cant decide if I want to go into something "smart" or something easy. I figure for now I might as well give it all I've got... "smart" it is. Too bad I cant go full time... maybe spring.

P.S. I am so excited fall is coming up. Like for reals.

Adventures in Johnstown pt4

Tuesday was leaving day. I made sure I had everything packed because I wanted to make sure I didnt forget anything... plus, I hate being rushed. (even though I forgot my new water bottle from target)
My grandma wanted to hang out w/ us some more before we were off.
We ended up going to her favorite store- HobbyLobby! Haha. I didnt even know they were nationwide! Haha. Its really funny too because she always has the craft ideas like making bird ornaments, drawings, paintings, crochet/blankets... I was like Heeey thats where I get all my random ideas from! Haha.
OH but before we went to the store we drove through this adorable little town called Alexandria (Of course it was cute, right Al! Haha) I guess it was just as old as Johnstown... and it had a cute little shop named Victoria's Parlour so of course I loved it.
Photobucket
not the best picture :(
We had lunch at this really cute place too. I totally forgot the name but once I remember it Ill have to update this thing. It had all stuff from local farms and dairies. I swear all we did there was talk and eat. Haha oh well, thats what fun is!
We took a few more pictures before we left and we had to take some rides around in the cars! My dad wanted us to meet some of his friends- he called them a bunch of "motorheads" Haha. I have to say they had to most awesome cars I have ever seen though! I didnt get any pictures, my sister got a few though. They were bad ass.

We had to make sure we saw everything we could and there was one last thing we didnt see. (I think it was at Uncle Lee's house again) but they had this train track that went outside! They had set up these model trains to go outside, under their deck, around their pond... it was cute. Plus everybody had like miles of backyard, I bet the kids all have a good time in the summer. So different than here.

Oh wait, I almost forgot... before we went to eat we saw this crazy building!! I guess they make these super expensive super fancy baskets there.( Yeah, I dont know) But anywho... check this out!!
Photobucket

So we got everything together and headed to the airport. The time home was a lot shorter than the time to our destination. Thank gawd!
Final pics before the good byes.
Photobucket
I think I can go awhile now without seeing an airport. Ugh.
Photobucket
(My poor sis's feet got so swollen at the end of the trip. Im sorry sis!)

Finally we got home about midnight! It was a great trip overall. Im glad I finally got to see all these people I never knew I was related too.
Everybody said it had been 25 years too long... I think I'd have to agree.
I missed Salt Lake so much and all of my besties. It was so scary but I think it was definitely worth it.

I need to send some thank you cards a.s.a.p. They were all so nice.

Adventures in Johnstown pt3

So we didnt have much planned for Monday. Who usually does right? Monday's are for work not play! Haha.
Aunt Lisa and Aunt Nancy wanted to take us shopping at this place they have called Polaris. Hell yeah! Another day of shopping? Its pretty obvious that we are related by this point, haha. Just to mention a few of the awesome stores... a huge Forever 21, Sephora, Delia's, Saks, and lots of other fun little ones... Heaven? Haha.
We got a few good things and met back at our grandma's house.
She wanted to get some pizza and have just a small dinner at her apartment. Her pink, shoe filled apartment... did I mention its not surprising we are related?! Haha(Btw they have more pizza places than any other food joints, kinda weird)
It was super nice just talking. She ended up showing us a lot of old pictures too. Hello 70's and 80's, haha. Oh why were there such weird styles?? I got to see all the old grandmothers too that have the name Victoria... Im the 3rd girl w/ the name! It was pretty neat and I think I saw a little bit of me in those old pictures. Cooool! Haha.
We got a few more pictures that day of us.

We wanted to hear and see more about the town so we walked around and did a little driving to see all the history.
Here's a few of the things we saw in the cute little town that is Johnstown.

After seeing all the sights we went back to our dad's to crash. Boy was it a long few day so far.
BUT perhaps the most interesting part of the vacation is our dad showing us these two old japanese photo albums he had from when he was in Vietnam. He looked so young!! Just a little one! I guess they would always go hang out w/ the orphans and stuff but he said it was crazy because it was so much fighting w/ these people that just lived in these tiny villages. Very, very interesting. I cant even imagine going through that. It pretty much broke my heart hearing the stories.

Adventures in Johnstown pt2

Sunday we got to sleep in... We are kinda wimps when it comes to travelling... plus its always good to get a little extra beauty sleep when you can.
We had to prepare ourselves too... Sunday was family reunion day!
(It was so nice, I wanted to wear a little sweater and my dad said to me "Are you trying to cover up your tattoos? Because you dont have too, they are pretty" Aww thanks dad!)

It started around 1 it was at our grandma's brothers house- Uncle Lee I believe...and we walked in to a million hello's! There were so many people I had to stop trying to remember people's names.
It was funny too because everyone kept saying "oohh the last time I saw you, you were 3 months old" (which is true because thats the only other time I've been to Ohio) and I didnt know what to say except.. "Oh cool" Haha.
OMG there was soo much good food there too. Good homemade food. Lots of potato things, salads, breads, and a whole table of dessert. So good.
All we did for the next few hours was say "hi, nice to meet you" and stuff our faces w/ all the good food.... There was even homemade ice cream!
- I should have taken more pictures of everyone... but I honestly didnt know who was who and I just kept thinking how weird it would be to be like Oh Hi, I'm your cousin... wanna take a picture? Haha.

It was kinda weird too because everybody asked where my mom was. I guess when you live in a small town living next to your family including brothers/sisters/cousins/aunts/uncles all in the same place it makes sense that everybody part of that family is welcome but my mom and dad have been divorced for like 22 years... so um yeah, she was in salt lake. It was cool but Idk, kinda crazy.
(I have to admit too that it made me kinda sad... I just kept thinking "Yeah my mom was supposed to be here but obviously that didnt work out, so please dont remind me about it, by asking me why she didnt come") I know they definitely had good intentions. Its just weird.

Apparently we were there on some of the hottest days of year... which was a little too much for the old folk. Haha. We went home and took a few pictures w/ my dad's new "project". So fun!
Photobucket

Well since me and my sister were kinda restless and didnt need afternoon naps my Aunt Nancy decided to take us to their outdoor mall. It was an adventure indeed since we had to take my dad's old truck and my aunt had never driven a truck before... Haha. I have to say it turned out to be SO AWESOME! Yes as everyone knows I love anything to do w/ shopping. It was a really fun place- imagine Gateway plus Fashion place! There was even this smoothie shop there and I just had to get the one called the Werewolf (I dont know why it was called that but it was yummy and had lots of anti-oxideants, haha)

After a day filled of lots of random stuff we just went back to our dad's and hung out for a bit. Since he is always working on his cars he usually has all of his friends over to hang out. We got to meet some of the 'crew' and talk to them about the differences between slc and ohio.

Adventures in Johnstown pt1

So it all began at the airport. Isnt that where most adventures begin? Unfortunately this beginning took a lot longer than most.
Photobucket
We left SLC fairly early in the evening and then had a super long layover in Vegas. I tried to get my sister to go gamble w/ me but she wouldnt. Then I thought we should maybe go shopping... How else where we supposed to kill 3.5 hours?? Haha.
Well we ended up just watching a movie on my mini dvd player. Plus there was an awesome little candy store and a little diner in the airport (which put forks in our fries, apparently you are supposed to use the forks for the fries??... yeah)
Photobucket
Haha and while we were walking around trying to kill time this sweet little old lady said she loved my luggage!! Go Betsey!!
We finally got to Cleveland about like 6 in the morning and then had another super long layover... 3 hours. We had the tired sillies... interrupted by these little birds in the airport... yes in the airport!
Photobucket

We finally arrive in Columbus about 10ish Sat and met our Grandma and Dad right there in the airport. (Oh and the humidity there is crrazy! It hits you like a freight train! Wheeew! Haha)
So we see them...first time! AAhhh! Haha. It was all good though.
We drove to Johnstown and got to see a very scenic view of Ohio. It was so pretty! Lots of corn, lots of white fences, lots of huge green trees.
Of course when we got to our dads we had to change really quick cuz we cant be hanging out being all dirty from the airport.
While waiting for everyone to get there we met one of my grandma's borthers- Uncle Bill. I love old guys who are kinda grumpy and love cars. I could spend all day listening to their stories.

We met up w/ our Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill(who is soo nice btw and they are from Michigan) and went to lunch at this pizza place. When we first walked in there was a big table with all these old farmer men... who gave us the weirdest looks ever! I was so scared because I thought to myself "Ooohh no, this is gonna be horrible" but it turned out being ok. Everybody seemed to want to just talk and get to know eachother. So it worked out.
A little later we met our Aunt Lisa and Uncle Bill (yeah, there were a lot of Bills, haha). They are so funny and just super welcoming.
We had some delish dinner at this place called Don Patrons (I think it was the only Mexican restaraunt there!) It was kinda weird just hanging out but it was cool to just talk to everyone and slowly get to know them.

We set up shop at our dads. It was nice to just take it easy friday night... and the best part was we got to see lightening bugs! OMG. The most adorable things ever.

Soon!

I really need to put up my Adventures in Johnstown but I dont have the little cord to connect my camera to the laptop. Ugh. I guess I could tell some of the story, but its so much better w/ pics. Perhaps tomorrow.

In the mean time I need to cheer the eff up. Haha.
I've been such a Sensitive Sally lately and I need to get back to a Vivacious Victoria.
When I got home on Tues night I just cried. I thought to myself that I have nothing here. I have great friends and thats about it. I guess my job is ok but it drives me crazy (plus not getting the new position was pretty much a slap in the old kisser) School is alright but I have a few more years for anything to show for it. My fams is ok but I think most of the time they dont really care about anything thats going on in my life. Things are just frustrating and I dont know how to change it.

I recently read: People dont cry because they are mad or sad but they do because they are frustrated.

Aint that the truth.

I wonder...

If this works.
Photobucket

Supposedly it makes boys want to flirt with you. Haha. For reals. I wonder if it even smells good, because if it smells good than thats all that really matters because of course boys would want to talk to you if they think you smell delicious! Haha. Maybe I'll have to get some and try it out.

decor...

So I'm kind of/ sort of updating my room. Well I like the stuff I have put up, I just need to arrange it better. These rooms gave me some inspiration. I love these styles.

Surprisingly I found all these pictures in the magazine Country Living... who knew they had such good ideas!

AAaand Ikea is having a big sale on friday... Well its a big "as-is" sale so I think I might have to stop by because they usually have cute bookshelves, dressers, and tables and little scratches or dents are easy to fix.

scary!

We.have.to.see.this.

Haha. I dont really know what The Collector was about, when we saw it Saturday night. Maybe he was an exterminator of humans? It was weird, but not in a good movie way.

Anywho, this movie looks good. We should watch the first Halloween before it too!
