i saw the haunting in connecticut on friday night w/ b-bomb and al...

IT WAS SO SCARY!!! haha. it was probably one of the best/scariest movies i have seen in awhile and im really glad we went and saw it. i think we screamed during a few parts, al had burried herself in my arm, i didnt watch half the movie because my hands were up and al and b-bomb shed a tear or two... some of the parts in it didnt really make sense, of course they just add stuff in and they arent always explained. plus it was a pretty basic storyline, but nonetheless pretty good. (haha and this just might be a weird tidbit i noticed but the main lady- i forgot her name- anyways she is a spokesperson for botox and the whole movie i dont think she had one wrinkle and that distracted me, haha)it was good though. i heard the real events are much more brutal and crazier than the movie. i dont even want to find out what they are, haha. i think i got the point.

oh man, my body is achin. i think its mad at me because i have just been pushing myself and doing new things like crazy. at this very moment my legs are burning from my work out this morning. i think i need to do some more stretches and drink more water to replenish myself.

i know its mad too because on thursday i had a traumatic experience... haha.
i got my first ever bikini wax and it hurt so, so, so bad. haha i almost passed out. but the lady that did it was super nice and very imformative. she even gave me a hug after cuz she could probably tell how distraught i was. haha it was crazy.

i need to eat better i think too. i need better fuel to keep my body happy and healthy. stuff that will help it run better in times of need, haha or trauma.

but on the good side i think all this work is paying off. im trying to be more sexy and i think its working. plus its about mind over body, so if i think its working then it must be!

i wanna see this movie!! i had seen a preview for it awhile ago when i went to a movie w/ my sis but then i kinda forgot about it. i think its recently come out on dvd though.

i just found out it was a book too! ive read some vampire books (hello, who hasnt read twilight) but i dont think ive read any that are super scary, haha they mostly have a lot to do w/ teen angst and cheesy love story plots. idk if ill read it but i def am going to check out the movie.

work-out's

here is where i go every morning...



my work-outs have been going pretty good. i really like exercising and being active. its a nice change and i kinda wish i would have started sooner... i think now is better than never though. the thing that seems to be working is just going, i just have to do it to it. i think thats what some of the trick is- no excuses.
i need to find some more work-outs other than just regular aerobics. i think that resistance training is good for my size because i am already muscley and i dont need to build anything i only need to tone. usually at work i try to sit on an exercise ball instead of a chair... 10 hours is rough at a desk haha.
i might start taking walks outside... haha not in k-town cuz thats a little scary but there is a track around my work that seems to be calling my name. i really never thought this was something i could do. its not really out of the ordinary but ive always been a "thicker" girl so i kinda thought thats just how things were but the more i push myself the better i feel except its a new feeling, its really neat. i really cant wait for summer. im going to do so much swimming and just being outside... haha i need to look good in some short shorts, hot pants, whatevs.

im just trying to take it day by day and i think its working for now.

oh what a weekend

fri was pretty awesome. i didnt have to work as usual, i ran a whole bunch of errands and had a good workout.

i went to the xreflectx show a little bit later at kilby w/ al. we pretty much hung out the whole night (al got tattooed). we had some b.a. dance moves in the car because we always hear the best jams. it was crazy being at kilby though, i havent been there in soo long. it brought back a whole bunch of memories, plus i got to see some oldie but goodie friends and it was just kinda crazy... but good.



sat was pretty sweet. i went to a bbq at b-bombs house for the bday party. cc made some DELICIOUS bbq "chicken" sandy's and b-bomb made her world-famous bean dip plus some good mac salad and potato salad. i think i ate a little too much. we had fun getting in some band practice even though the boys ended up taking over after awhile.
we didnt do very much shopping though... which is the best part of the game, haha! its fun though... my fingers hurt... haha.

sunday wasnt exciting at all... i got caught up on some zzzzzz's. im excited spring is just about here.

i need some suggestions on good books to read!

im going to be reading a lot this summer, lots of stuff.
i already have a hold on lots of magazines, soon to be text books, and random books i have picked up... but i need more!!

b-bomb said to check out the "marked" series... apparently its better than the beloved twilight, haha. we will see.

i like reading anything though, from history to mystery!

i could spend hours in bookstores and the library, there is so much information in there to get, its impossible to stay a short while.

aaand one day im going to have a library. like for reals, the ladder and everything.

role models are hard to come by, especially in this day and age where reality tv rules the media and people expect to be famous by their mediocre talents. its not really cool. ive said before im not the most recent person up on the latest trends, news, or gossip but i think i know whats real and whats good.
i think people that are really talented or work really hard and become amazingly good at something should be the role models that we look up to.
i want to go to school so i can find something that im good at, my niche if you will. i know somethings i like doing, hobbies, projects but im not sure if its anything i can make a career out of. im really excited to explore though.

one thing that i want to try is writing. but i dont know what kind. im not really good at imagining stories or characters but i think im pretty funny sometimes and ive been known to crack a joke or two. so maybe ill try it on, see if the shoe fits (i love shoes). it kinda sucks cuz one thing ive always been good at is math. haha and math is pretty much the least exciting subject in school to ever study. i need something that i can keep learning in and keep improving. something b.a. like me. haha. my orientation for school is coming so maybe they can point me in the right direction. we will see!!

btw i love these people. i think they are really good at what they do and they are really original. not to mention ridiculously funny. excellent qualities to have.

i wanna be like tina fey and have a bf like seth rogen... haha.

gym shym.

i went to the good ol dr on thursday and he said i need to get inserts in my shoes. what?! i know. apparently i am not very coordinated and i dont know how to move properly. so whatevs. hopefully they arent muy expensive.

unfortunately they gym is getting kinda hard lately. not the working out part but going to the actual gym, which is the problem that i have run into before. i hate hate hate the gym setting. you run in place for x amount of time and people try to impress and its stupid... the two things that suck the most are:

1) old guys that watch you work out. yeah. they stand behind you and pretend to watch tv. at first i wondered if i was using the machine they wanted... even though there are 3 right next to me being unused. hhmm.. its weird.

2) people getting nekkid in the locker rooms. i usually change my clothes in the bathroom stalls because i dont know what kind of bacteria/ viruses are in those showers and i dont want to try any health experiments by taking a chance. is it that hard to just change really quick?! is it necessary to take everything off and hang out for a bit... then decide its time for clothing. not cool.

im liking this exercise thing i have going on though. ive lost some poundage though im not sure how much because scales arent the most accurate form of measurment. but its working for now. go team!

oh geeez.

i got tattooed up on thursday. yay! some of the little lady is colored and next time she is going to be finished. then im getting the inside done... oohh man its gonna suck, but i cant wait.

b-bombs party was super fun on friday (the 13th) even though i was running around all day actin a fool trying to get things together. but cc got lots of stuff done too so it turned out beautifully. im glad everyone had a good time though and it turned out really cute! woot woot! we went and got some DELICIOUS tsunami and then just partied at her house. all the ladies were really cute in black and white dresses and i had made some veils which were on and off the whole night. it looked pretty creepy overall and we had lots of good treats. (super good idea: pixi stixs + fanta + mambas + mike and ikes cocktail)haha not to mention when me and al were getting the food we saw a full moon and al was doing some awesome dance moves at smiths. plus i wore some dangerous shoes and i loved it. i think working out helps w/ the heels. its awesome.




aaand ive decided i need to do more projects. i have a million ideas for crafts/paintings/decor and i cant ever execute them so i need to practice.

dont stop, get it get it.

i got my official letter of acceptance last night... thats right...

im going back to school!!

vegas vacation extras

i forgot to mention ricardo got a little beat up this weekend. from being hit with the door the first day to sat night shenanigans including almost breaking a toe, hitting his knee, and getting a concussion from wrestling. it was some craziness.

and i had to point out every hott guy i saw to d. she knew what i was talking about. it was fun.

oh and me and shrimp had come up w/ a brilliant plan to get ricardo drunk because we knew he wanted to drink but he said he would only do it if all of us did (and of course i dont) but he had some drinks anyway so our plan was foiled.

we took a million pictures but i dont think we took enough to catch every moment. it was too fun.

oh and there was quite a bit of funny ses talk. nothing bad but everything hilarious. thats what happens when you are talkin about boys and girls, it some how ends up being about ses.

haha oh and one of the days we were walking on the strip ricardo pretty much yelled (to shrimp) why are you always thinking about PEN15'S?! haha. talk about making things aaawwwkward!

vegas vacation pt 3

sunday we slept in a little bit, kinda. we got up at 9 and we were tore up. sooo tired. we cleaned up the room a little bit and slowly got our stuff together. oh on sat we had decided to bring bf something back that you can only get in vegas. we started putting the prono cards in a little sephora shopping bag. so sun we had a mission to fill the bag. the awesome hotel held our bags until we were ready to leave for our flight later. i dont think ive ever stayed at a nicer place. oh a few different girls told us we were dressed cute, there are some really nice people in lv... and some weirdos too. so we did a little more gambling sun afternoon. i played roulette again and won my money back. it was pretty sweet. then we continued our mission. everyone thought we were weird cuz we were telling the people 'thank you' for handing us the cards. our legs were sore, our feet hurt, we were running on no sleep... but it was so fun just hanging out. not to mention the weather was PERFECT. i absolutely loved it. we did a little people watching on sun, we were a little spent from the days before. haha we had to look for all the fine fellas there. we even saw this cute one having a little tasty treat and darlenie said "he's even licking ice cream" haha. it was so funny. something that was kinda crazy is in the morning we had done a little gambling and shrimp had left her ink ladies hoodie somewhere. we didnt notice til later and we had thought it would be last forever. luckily after our mission we checked w/ mgms lost and found and they had it!!! what a relief. i cant believe we did so much in such a little amount of time. thankfully our flight home was just a direct flight. kind of bumpy but ok (turns out we had a female pilot, makes you go hhhmmm...) but i was happy to be home and going to bed. and ricardos fine friend took me back to my car. it was a nice end to a great weekend.

i hope i didnt forget any of the amazing moments.

vegas vacation pt 2

we got up kinda early, about 9ish. haha and our room was a mess. what can ya do? we did some more shopping at ph and at the fashion mall. i got an awesome betsey johnson bag that matched exactly w/ my luggage. oh maybe i got that on friday- i cant remember. and i got a cute necklace that has a boy and girl and a bird and a bee and the package says "yeah, you know what im talking about" haha. we did soo much walking all day on the strip going up and down where the casinos/ shops are. of course we took lots of pictures cuz we always look good. ahah and shrimp saw a girl with the same dress on she was wearing- oops fashion faux paus! heading back towards mgm we saw the nicest looking brothas, haha and i think they were following us for awhile- they knew they were being checked out. especially this tall one who had is eye on darlenie. so a little later darlenie decided that she wanted a big drink that came in the souvenir cups- they had a cute eiffel tower one. mmm and there were some cute boys w/ tattoos that were sitting by us. so she got her drink and we headed back. there must have been a little extra spirits as they say in that drink cuz darlenie was being sooo funny. she said her cheeks were burning and then she almost ran into a wall... haha ricardo was supposed to be protecting her from herself. haha and she kept saying "why did they give me so much" and then would drink some more. haha also she added boots with the fur to our saying making it abj, bwtff. some pervert saw us going to our room though and said he wanted to play. ew. haha then trying to watch her and shrimp open the door was hiiiiiilarious. oh man. when were in the room it was picture time again. oh man. darlenie was jumping on the bed and shrimp was doing some dances. and whenever richard would drink some of d's drink he wouldnt take enough so she told him he was taking b!tch sips, haha. we had to practice before the club of course. haha and darlenie was calling everyone poopie. by this point our stuff was every where and ricardo said " clean up all your shi+ right now!" haha then he went to jump off the bed and tripped over something and kind of screamed like a female. it was so funny and sad at the same time. little d pretty much passed out when she took a nap. poor lil one. lookin all fine we headed to tao. oh and so on fri and sat we talked to a few guys that said they could get us in the clubs but they all worked on tips ( a little fishy considering some of them looked like they were strung out) but this one pretty boy talked to us and he got us on the guest list. no tip or anything he was super nice. so anywho we didnt wait to get into the club, and we didnt even have to pay! it was a nice club but as shrimp said- a club is a club is a club. they had a few different floors and some good ol hip hop going on. aaannd there were some old people at the club too. they were old as fuuuuuhh. like not too old for the world but old for the club. we danced a little bit while it wasnt too crowded. for some reason there was a whole load of asians there, all over the lv too. but whatevs. we took some breaks too. then this super nice black guy danced with me. he wasnt even doing any bumpin or grindin moves. good clean fun. so we left after d and shrimp had to ditch some guys that were buying them drinks. then when we got back to the hotel some craziness happened. it was just some winding down from the day and some wrestling going on. pretty much between shrimp, d, and ricardo. haha. and shrimp was bustin out some crazy dance moves. they could have called me little wheezy i was laughing so hard. i dont think we even went to bed til 4!

vegas vacation pt 1

so after a wonderful sleep over at ricardos house... which included pizza, mario party on the wii (RULES!), sleeping on the floor and freezing... we headed to the airport at 5 am. ugh way too early. but ricardos hott friend picked us up so that was a nice little treat.
first plane- horrible. me and ricardo were in the very last seat, we couldnt even lean back, lean back. plus it was next to the bathroom. laaame. second plane wasnt too bad and we got to vegas about 9/10 am. ricardo decided that the phrase of the weekend was going to be applebottom jeans which was later shortened to abj. the most awesome thing was that when we got to the super nice hotel- we had a penthouse OMG. it was awesome, pretty much a mini apartment w/ a tub to die for. so we took a nap and then got a little ready. we did some shopping on the strip. we ate at la salsa and darlenie got her first (legal) drink. then we headed back to the hotel for another nap. we got ready for our super nice dinner- daaaamn we looked good to. we ate at il mulino and it was super duper nice. like 9 buck water nice. they brought us some appetizers which was all sorts of breads and cheeses and something in a shell. i felt kinda weird because i had to ask the waiter if there was anything vegetarian. luckily they had this DELICIOUS pasta w/ marinara sauce and some fancy cheese.plus after i had orderd the waiter pretty much asked me if i wanted a salad too except he said it kinda weird and it took me about 5 minutes to answer. haha the longest pause ever. plus we had him repeat the specials oh about 50 times. we were definitely out of place though. i thought we were going to get kicked out for using the wrong fork! it was pretty b.a. so after we went back to the room we were still excited and decided to do a little gamblin, but shrimp stayed behind for some rest. on our way to the casino darlenie saw some man candy and i think they had a little eye sex.. it was pretty crazy. we went to ph and played at the pleasure pit. i played a little at roulette and it was so cool. plus this weird asian guy kept asking me and darlenie if our tattoos were real.. haha and she said "what, do they look like freakin stick ons?!" nice. but i didnt really win. later d and r played some blackjack and they were there for quite awhile. they were playing good. we were soo tired after that. it was quite a long first day.
