So I should probably be working right now but instead I have decided to spend a lot of my afternoon looking at cute stuff on etsy. Particularly furniture.
I love these. If I had a house it would be so cute and whimsical. One day!

hair.

I wish I had long hair again. Oh the turmoils of being a girl, haha.
So my plan is to get down to the size I wanna be and then when I reach that goal I am going to go shopping and get blonde hair! Yay!!
Im gonna TRY to not buy any clothes til then. ( I would say shoes too, but why make promises I cant keep! Haha. Plus shoes only come in the size you need them)

weekend!

Well I had a pretty good weekend overall.
( I didnt get as much homework done as I should have though )

I had Friday off!! (Thank You Utah) from school and work. It was wonderful. I actually did work out a little (go me!). Haha and kind of took my time the whole day doing nothing else.... then we met at the mall and had to have a sweet treat before the game... isnt this huge???!

So CC, B, Blake, Will, and me were the ones that ended up going to see Real.
It was a really good game and we won in the end. Some people were actin a fool, but it was def a good time. Plus we have some plans in the works for our super-fan ideas. mmmmwwwwahahahah!
There were some fireworks after... and I must say it was to the most random playlist I have ever heard. Haha.

Saturday I didnt get to work out... lame. haha. But I helped my sister in getting settled into her new place then we went to IHOP. It was pretty tasty.
I took the longest nap for some reason... like 3 hours! Oh how I love sleeeping.
I met B, Alex, CC, and Brooklyn for some early dinner at Veggie house. I could eat there everyday... well not if I want a nice body... but if I wanted to have good food. Haha.
A little later I met up w/ Darlenie and Shrimp over at Ricardo's house for good ol fashioned texas hold'em, Richard's grandma even played with us! It was so fun! Of course none of us could hold up our own against the more experienced! Haha. We played for quite awhile though... I think I need to improve my skills if Im ever gonna get my money back.

Sunday I went to the ever-so-tasty Ruth's Diner w/ Bekky (plus we got to see Al keepin it real at work). It was such a nice day too, it could have been a little cooler but it was still nice.
I was able to hang out w/ my sister again that afternoon and we just had to watch the new True Blood at my mom's new place. (who can pass up a huge tv w/ amazing AC and tons of snacks?!)
Finally I got home and decided to do a little homework that I had intentions of doing the whole weekend. OOoopsie!!

For some reason long weekends take a lot out of me. Im tired!! haha.

Im addicted...

to cute shoes. I really am. This is how I know: as soon as I try on a pair I love, I have to have them.... AND the other reason I am addicted is because as soon as I have them they make me so happy. Haha. Its just w/ shoes though, not clothes. Shoes always look good where sometimes you can have a bad day with clothes. Haha.

Well anyways... here is a new pair I found that I think Im gonna need ASAP.



... the weird thing is that I dont even wear half of the shoes that I have. Haha. Oh well.

It was so nice to meet you today.

CC! You have a baby!!! AAhhhhh!! I am really so excited to see her grow up and become such a lovely little lady.
I know she is gonna be super adorable and sassy.

I remember when you told some of us after my Bday HP party and it was so crazy and so unbelievable... and then a few months and she is here. The time seemed to take forever but then again it was so quick.

Im so happy she is here.

Bikini... It's on.

So I decided Ive been lazy enough and I need to get back into getting in shape. I dont even care that summer is almost half way over, haha. I still gotta get a nice body whether its in a bikini or not. (plus swimming season is still on for like a month & 1/2 so I got some time). I think its gonna be a little harder than when I first started at the beginning of the year because its harder once you have plateaued. Im def gonna try though. Here is some of my plan:
1. Eat better. Less sugar, less dairy. SMALL meals including more veggies. less fruit and less breads.
2. Lots and lots of water. I need to get at least 32 oz every day.
3. 8 hours of sleep EVERY night. (this might be tough, haha)
4. Work out every day... but not Aerobic everyday. Alternate between the gym, running outside, hiking, stretching, weights.
5. Less stress. This kinda sounds silly but stress really does add on the pounds, so it more a matter of dealing with things instead of eating, haha. We will see.

I think I can do it. The hardest part is staying motivated. Im motivated today so I just have to make it last, haha.

Plus this one piece swimming suit is giving me really weird tan lines including a super pale stomach- so not cute.... And it sucks when you gotta use the restroom. haha.

Friday was an excellent time.
I accidentally slept in (oops my bad! but at least I got some sleep) Friday night we ate at Olive Gardent for David's Bday and then me, B, and CC got some delicious ice cream at Coldstone after. Summer + Ice Cream = Bliss.

Saturday was a fun day.
Me, Bekky Far, and Shrimp went hiking up Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was kinda rough, haha. I have some thick thighs so I probably could have gone hiking for days, haha. There were some pretty wild flowers though and butterflies. Except this old ginger led us in the wrong direction! Ugh!

A little later we got some good ol' food at SouperSalad and then just hung out at the house. It was pretty chill.

Sunday I kinda slept in and it was nice.
We (me, Shrimp, Darlenie, Ricardo) were kinda running a little late but we ended up meeting at Echo Lake just passed Park City. Bekky Far, Stevezie, Misty, and Dave were already there keepin it real. I thought the water was gonna be freeeeezing but it ended up being pretty warm. It was a lot of fun just floating around in the lake and then me and Darlenie worked on our tans. It was really nice to just hang out. OOOooohhh and there was some scandalous stuff going on in the lake! Ggrrrroooosss. haha. That was our queue to leave. It was def a good time though.

OMG.

So I have been obsessed with these shoes the moment I first saw them... it was in one of my magazines and it was an ad that Marion Cotillard (who I love btw) was wearing them, then I saw them on Katy Perry in her Thinking of You video (especially the end, I love the total outfit)and I looked them up to discover that they were Giambattista Valli and there was NO WAY I would be able to afford them...

Then the clouds parted and the sunshine came through and a miracle happened...
The blog The Look 4 Less right over there on my faves found a pair by Jessica Simpson that are almost the same!! AND they are on sale at Nordstroms this week for like 50% off!!! AAAHHHH!!! haha. I think I will have to get them.

Harry Potter!!

I. AM. SO. EXCITED.
We (me, Brandi- maybe, Alex, Beve, Conor, Lindahun) have ticktes for Tues night/Wed morning and I cant even wait. This book was really one of the best (even though the 4th is my favorite) All of the movies are done really well though and I know I wont be disappointed... and I know everyone is as excited as me. Its gonna be a good time.

Before the movie we are gonna go to the Hogwarts/ Harry Potter party they are having at one of the movie theaters. There is going to be fortune telling, butter beer, everything! We are def gonna have to take a million pics.
(Dang, I wish I could have gotten my HP tattoos before the movie though! haha)

lately ive been wanting to change things around.
i think im gonna wear less eye make-up cuz its easier and use more real color like on my cheeks and lips... maybe keep it fresh looking.
im gonna probably just keep my hair curly and brown for now, maybe more messy. i wanna go blonde once i get my bangs all grown out.
oohh and i have been neglecting my big earrings... i gotta start wearing em.

uuggh and i really want some new glasses but i cant seem to find the ones im looking for. i kind of want a little bit more nerdy looking ones, but classy too.

good weekend.

it was a good 4th of July weekend....
i had a long weekend because of no school or work on friday (thank gawd)
i had fun at the Real game and watched some good ol fireworks... plus some more a little later. and on americas actual b-day i got a delicious slurpee (pina colada/ wild cherry mix) and got to see some more fireworks of the not legal kind. haha. it was a nice weekend just chillin with my lovely friends. i hope there are more weekends like this to come this summer.
