so on wed the drive to cali was pretty smooth. i remember that it was a lot of dessert and kinda boring... haha. drives always are though. we got to the hotel in the afternoon and our rooms were pretty decent. we had the most amazing pool there though! it was heated, hallelujah! haha. we went swimming for awhile and slowly people from salt lake started getting to cali. we decided to go to swingers that night in la. i just have to say that i love swingers diner. it is such a cute place and they have lots of veggie friendly items. the only thing that sucked was our waitress. she was a total betch. not even cool at all. i was kinda disappointed but oh well, im glad we got to go. (at some point cpg made up a song about stuff, it was pretty awesome and was about stuff... it might have been in vegas though)
we drove around la after our food and i swear to gawd we found rob & big's house from the show. it had to be it! haha. we saw some other massive houses that i could never imagine living in. we saw a few of those places in tabloids that are all the rage for the celebs and lets just say they didnt look that cool. i think we drove by some of stars on the walk of fame too but we didnt stop. it was pretty interesting though. def a good time. except for the party that lindahun got a picture ticket for a red light... not so fun.
thur we went to disneyland!!! a few of the other people in from slc went to a dodgers game. i bet that would have been fun too- and i hear they have some tasty veggie dogs.
we got up pretty early and missed the first shuttle to go get something to eat. we got to disney land and decided ot upgrade our passes to include both parks... oh and lucky mike t got in for free! he was the happiest person ever, and how appropriate that we were at the happiest place on earth. there was quite a big group of us that went too... we even got a picture with all of us with our guns up, haha.
we went to california adventure first. rode some of the awesome new rides, rollercoasters, games, and water rides. we went over to disneyland about half way through the day. it was so much fun just being there. we had to ride the best rides... pirates, splash mountain, haunted mansion... unfortunately indiana jones was broken most the day and we didnt have enough time when we were leaving. i didnt think it was very expensive but when you are there the whole day that shiz adds up. im def gonna have to go back cuz we didnt get to see all the castles or toon town. it was soo fun though. we got to see a few of the characters too... like jasmine/aladdin, chipmunks, pluto, goofy, mickey... i loved it.
oh and they even had some vegan gumbo stuff that al and cpg had... actually they had a lot of good food there. haha. i dont think disneyland will ever get old...
so on to the rest of the week...
